Taster Session – Dinghy Sailing Sydney

Situated in the suburb of Mosman in Sydney, New South Wales.

People per certificate:
Gift certificate covers one person. A maximum group size of 6 people per instructor.

Experience:
A dinghy sailing taster session on Sydney’s Balmoral Beach – an ideal spot to catch the prevailing north-easterly sea breezes! On the day of your taster session you will be met by your experienced instructor who will start your session with a brief theory chat and on land demonstration before you hit the water. You will be taught the capsize recovery drill, how to turn around and sail across the wind. The knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors will either be in the water with you or alongside in the safety boat.

Participant guidelines:
16 years upwards, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. A waiver form needs to be signed.

A maximum group size of 6 people per instructor. 

What to bring/Dress code: Please bring your swimmers. Bring a towel as we have a change area with hot showers for after your experience.

Availability: Sessions are available all year round, morning and afternoons. 

Weather: The experience is affected by the weather, in the event of poor weather we will re-schedule..
