The best way to enjoy such an experience is aboard the luxury yacht "Katrina".Sydney Eco Whale Watching’s personalised 4-hour eco-tour caters for only a small number of passengers at a time. No pushing crowds and lots of personal attention will make this a powerful, spiritual experience.Between May to late August and September to November each year, about 27,000 whales migrate along the Australian coastline to their breeding and birthing grounds.
As a part of their migratory path, many Humpbacks and Southern Right Whales swim very close to the coastline around Sydney. Over the past years, Sydney has had many whales swim into the Harbour and stay for up to two weeks. You may see whales, dolphins, penguins, seals and ocean birds during your eco-tour.Our yacht Katrina provides a luxurious, mobile platform to take you to the best vantage point to see these wonderful, awe – inspiring creatures while enjoying complimentary refreshments on board, and to keep you warm- hot chocolate, coffee & tea. Participant guidelines: Due to Safety reasons, only children 6 years and over are accepted.
Numbers on day: A maximum of 12 passengers will be aboard your tour.
What to bring/Dress code: • As it will be cold during the winter, please bring your favourite warm hats, spray and warm jackets, jumpers and gloves • Sunglasses • Camera • We also recommend our customers wear flat ‘runner’ style shoes; No leather or black sole shoes. • Sunscreen will be provided complimentary
Availability:
Tours operate during the following months, from Wednesdays to Sundays: Winter: May-early August Spring: September-November Tours depart daily at 8:00 a.m and 12:30 p.m. These times may vary and will be confirmed on booking.
Weather:
Tours may be cancelled before and during the tour if the weather and/or the safety conditions are unacceptable, or if the ocean/sea conditions are unsafe. If the tour is cancelled, your tour will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed date. This will be subject to availability and current bookings at the time.
