Experience:
The Premium Portrait Photography Workshop is designed for anyone who wants to take beautiful, powerful and impactful portrait photography portraying mood and character and the true essence of their subject. Whether you want to shoot fashion models, loved ones or even corporate portraits, you will learn to use natural portrait lighting effects and in addition gain many handy posing, compositional and focusing tips.

We construct a series of 'pro-shoots' in various stimulating and exciting locations around Sydney. This portrait photography workshop runs for the entire day under the close supervision, guidance and instruction of your tutor multi award winning, Master Photographer and 2008 NSW AIPP Portrait Photographer of the Year Daniel Linnet.
 
We utilise fabulous, friendly professional models and characters for the photography shoots who make you feel at ease. You are served up sumptuous catered working lunches and snacks throughout the day. This portrait photography workshop is social, inspirational, educational and fun! 

Basic overview of some of the topics:

1. The kit
2. Preparing to shoot
3. Making the creative decisions
4. Exposure control
5. Creating mood
6. White balance techniques for accurate colour
7. Working with depth & movement
8. Creative composition & framing techniques
9. Lens selection
10. Background selection
11. Portrait lighting techniques
12. Lighting styles & directions
13. Contrast control & lighting ratios

Participant guidelines:
You will need: • An SLR or any other camera with full manual capability • All lenses you have • Plenty of varied films at different ISO ratings if shooting film • Memory card(s) if shooting digital • All camera accessories - i.e: tripod, lens filters, lens hood, etc. if you have them • Fully charged camera battery and spare if you have one • Your cameras manual(s) - for referencing those hard to find features • Any of your prints or shots you wish to discuss (even those on disk or USB storage device
 
Numbers on day:
This experience is limited to 6 participants minimum and 10 maximum. Should minimum numbers not be acquired the experience will be postponed to the following date.
