Mike has a vast and extensive knowledge of wine appreciation including sensory examination and evaluation of wine and all the wine-making processes that go on behind closed doors to produce the beloved beverage.  Mike has been complimented for his professionalism and for striking the perfect balance between imparting knowledge and tourism, creating an all-round experience to cater for all visitors.

LOCATION:  This wine tour journeys throughout the scenic Macedon Ranges - recognised as one of mainland Australia's premium cool climate wine growing regions. The coldest sites are known to produce some of the finest sparkling and award winning wines. Wineries visited may include Granite Hills, Cope Williams, Hanging Rock Winery, Paramoor, Mount Charlie, Mount Gisborne Wines, Goonawarra and more.

TRANSPORT:  Your host wants to ensure this tour experience is as comfortable as possible and does so by providing both air-conditioned and heated vehicles. Enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding countryside during the one hour drive to this premier Victorian Wine Region.

Participant guidelines:
More than 24 hours notice prior to the tour, a 50% cancellation fee will apply to each person and 50% of money paid will be refunded. - Less than 24 hours notice prior to the tour, no refund will be given and money paid will be forfeited. 

Numbers on day:
This is a public wine tour and requires a minimum of 4 individuals to proceed - in the event that this is not the case, your tour will be rescheduled.

Availability:
This tour operates on selected Sundays - bookings are essential. Other days are available for group bookings by appointment.

Other:
This offer is fully inclusive of return transport from and to Melbourne, winery tasting fees, main course lunch of choice (vegetarian and gluten free options are available), a glass of wine and tea or coffee.
