There's a new species in the world's oldest rainforest... the JUNGLE SURFER.Jungle Surfers fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at five tree platforms to take in spectacular bird's eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef.The longest span is over 75 metres and the platforms vary in height from 2.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground. One of Queensland’s “must do” experiences, Jungle Surfing is the adventure activity for all ages.

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours offer a unique Daintree Rainforest tour where your feet don’t touch the ground. Seated comfortably in full body harnesses, Jungle Surfers fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at five eco-friendly tree platforms to take in spectacular bird’s eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef.The longest span is over 75 metres and the platforms range from 2.5m to 19.5m in height, offering an “up-close and personal” experience at all levels of the rainforest canopy, and incredible photo opportunities. The tour’s a mixture of exhilaration and education, and the abseiling and scientist guides share their rainforest wit and wisdom with interpretive talks on each platform. The team also use a unique system to control your flight, making this the only flying fox in the world where you can fly hands-free and carefree, without any previous experience. And the flight choice is yours – slow, fast or even upsidedown, if you dare!
Participant guidelines:
3yrs to 103 yrs. 120kg weight limit, not suitable for pregnant women.

What to bring/Dress code:
Enclosed shoes. Wear long pants or shorts (no skirts or dresses). Don't forget your camera!

Weather:
Jungle Surfing is an all-weather activity and will only be cancelled by the operator in extreme conditions such as cyclones or severe electrical storms. In the unlikely event of a tour cancellation, we will offer alternate dates/times or offer a full refund if a mutually agreeable replacement tour cannot be scheduled.
Other:
No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of tour departure. Changes to the date and/or time of your booking must be received 24 hours prior to tour departure. All changes are subject to availability and made at the discretion of the operator. In the unlikely event that creek crossings are unpassable or you are unable to reach Jungle Surfing for another legitimate reason outside of your control, we will try to reschedule your tour to suit you.
