It makes for a fantastic birthday present or something special to mark an occasion. This flight takes place over Byron Bay, with the base just 5 kilometres out of town.

One child per certificate. (Note: the balloon can take up to 20 people at a time, so you can buy mutiple certificates if you want to experience this flight with a friend).

 
PACKAGE INCLUDES: 
- Preflight briefing with your pilot
- Approximately 1-hour hot air balloon ride (depending on weather conditions)
- Gourmet breakfast afterwards
- Commemorative flight gift certificate

ON THE DAY: 
It's an early start but well worth that alarm clock! You will meet the pilot and ground crew about 45 minutes before sunrise where you will have your preflight briefing. Just before sunrise, the balloon will be inflated and you will take off for the flight which will last approximately 1 hour depending on weather and wind conditions.  After the flight, enjoy a delicious breakfast which includes freshly baked muffins and quiche, cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt, juice with local organic coffee and tea. Once breakfast is done, you can leave and wonder around Byron Bay with the gorgeous day still ahead of you! 
 

Participant guidelines:
Child certificate covers ages 4-12 year olds. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
 
Numbers on day:
The balloon can take up to 20 people at a time, so you can buy mutiple certificates if you want to experience this flight with a friend.
 
What to bring/Dress code:
Sturdy shoes are recommended. Ladies, no skirts or high heels please. Please bring a cap, sunglasses, sunscreen and your camera! Depending upon the season, you may need jeans, jumper, beanie and a jacket that you can remove as the morning warms up. Personal DVDs are offered of your flight from $100 per person.
 
Availability:
Flights take off once daily, except for Christmas Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day | Bookings are essential
 
Weather:
Flights may be cancelled and rescheduled due to inclement weather and will be called off when the wind is more than 10kts for safety reasons. To confirm your flight call the office the day before between 5 and 6 pm for a weather check and exact meeting time.
 
Spectators:
You and the other passengers and the pilot. The smaller basket holds 2-5 people and the larger, 10-13 people. If you wish, your friends and family can join you for breakfast. The cost is $30 per adult and $15 per child (up to the age of 12) and bookings must be made in advance.
