This class is a gourmet experience which is sure to bring your creative culinary skills to life. COOKING CLASS INCLUDES:  • Pack your favourite apron and get your hands dirty in this home style cooking class. • All ingredients and cooking equipment will be provided for this fun experience. • You will learn the art of balancing flavours and applying classic techniques to showcase fresh ingredients in their most simplistic, natural form. 

Learn from one of Australia’s most authentic Italian style trained chefs: Lucina Sampogna. Embracing her Venetian heritage, Luciana has bought her cultural influences to the Sydney table. After graduating from the famous Simili Sisters school in Bologna, Luciana opened her Sydney cooking school in 2002. Luciana was determined to keep the recipes and memories of her treasured childhood and cooking repertoire alive with ‘Light of Lucia’, her first cookbook published in 2010. This cooking class is the perfect opportunity to learn from her and bring some of her style into your own kitchen.   

VENUE: Step inside the exclusive heritage listed Italian villa for a truly unique and intimate cooking class experience. Luciana welcomes you into her Italian style home with open arms and a warm heart, making everyone who walks through her doors feel like they have joined the family. With state of the art equipment and no detail overlooked, there is ample work space for kneading dough, rolling gnocchi and simmering sauces.

Participant guidelines: Minimum age is 12 unless accompanied by an adult.

Numbers on day: This is a boutique cooking school where classes are small and intimate - numbers are limited to twenty.

 What to bring/Dress code: Smart casual clothing. Enclosed sturdy shoes are recommended and an apron is essential.

Availability: Evening classes available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Booking is essential for this very popular cooking experience. Please book as early as possible (at least two months in advance) to ensure you can attend the class.
