Learn all the fundamental principles of sailing with this 2-day course. Total 12hrs on water time. Know someone who loves spending time out on the open water? Let them take to the waters of beautiful Sydney Harbour and learn how to prepare a yacht for sailing, understanding the wind & weather, manoeuvring, rules of the road, knots and basic navigation. All instruction is aboard a luxury Dufour or Hunter monohull sailing yacht and by an accredited International Yacht Training Worldwide sailing instructor. The course is run over two days (mainly weekends) from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

What to bring/dress code:
Warm comfortable clothing and non-marking footwear (black soled footwear is not permitted). Participants are responsible for any injury sustained to their feet , if they don’t wear the appropriate shoes. Dress for the weather.
Please also bring any drinks, snacks and a packed lunch as you will be onboard for the duration of the session.
Postponement is due only to adverse wind conditions and not rain as per our discretion. In the event of cancellation due to weather, your experience will be rescheduled for a later date. Upon Customer postponement for any other reason a 10% fee may be applicable at our discretion.
This experience is available throughout the year. Bookings are essential.
