Windward conducts sunrise champagne balloon flights over the picturesque Avon Valley.Lifting off gently at dawn witness the first signs of sunlight shed across the landscape, a rural setting and patchwork of colours. Afterwards you will be invited to join in the fun, and experience the ancient and mystical art of Balloon “packer-uperring”.The venue for breakfast has been especially chosen to compliment your morning’s experience. Celebrate in style with champagne and cooked breakfast. During breakfast your pilot will present you with your certificate of flight. Includes hot air balloon flight over the Avon Valley, a sumptuous champagne breakfast and flight certificate presentation.
Minimum age for this certificate is 8-10 years.
Numbers on day:
This certificate is for one person only. Balloons take a minimum of two passengers and a maximum of 12.
What to bring/Dress code:
Please wear casual clothing, and sturdy walking-type shoes.
Flights operate once daily from April to November. The hot and windy summer in Western Australian weather is unsuitable for ballooning during the other months.
Flights can be postponed and rescheduled subject to inclement weather. Please call Avon Valley Ballooning the night prior to confirm whether your flight will go ahead and to arrange a meeting place for take-off.
Family and friends are welcome to watch your flight from the ground.
