Taster Session – Windsurfing Sailing Sydney

Situated in the suburb of Mosman in Sydney, New South Wales.

People per certificate:
Gift certificate covers one person. A maximum group size of 6 people per instructor.

Experience:
A taster session on Sydney’s Balmoral Beach – an ideal spot to catch the prevailing north-easterly sea breezes. On the day of your taster session you will be taught a series of techniques get you up and windsurfing. You will be met by your experienced instructor who will start the session with a short theory chat and an on land demonstration. It’s over to you then to practice. You will learn how to turn round, the “secure” position and how to sail across the wind. Our knowledgable and enthusiastic instructors will either be in the water with you or alongside in the safety boat.

Participant guidelines:
16 years upwards, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. You must be a confident swimmer. You will be required to sign a waiver form.

Numbers on day:
This certificate is for one person.The lessons operate with a maximum group size of 6 people per instructor. 

What to bring/Dress code:
Please bring your swimmers. Bring a towel as we have a change area with hot showers for after your experience. 

Availability:
Sailing everyday of the year. Morning and afternoon lessons are available.

Weather:
The experience is affected by the weather. In the event of poor weather the lesson will re-schedule.

Other:
Sessions are available all year round, morning and afternoons. You must be a confident swimmer. You will be required to sign a waiver form. Spectators are welcome. The experience is affected by the weather, in the event of poor weather we will re-schedule.
