ITINERARY: The tour begins with an indulgent wine tasting at Josef Chromy Wines where you can sample their world famous vintages. The next stop on the tour is the Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Co. to sample award winning sauces and jams made on site. These are the types of recipes that are handed down through the generations from mother to daughter and carry an authentic home cooked taste. If available on the day, the third stop is further wine tasting at Three Willows Vineyard where you are invited to meet the winemaker and sample his carefully selected hand-made wines. Afterwards, you will make your way to 41 Degrees South Salmon Farm and Eco Experience. You have the option to take a self-guided tour around the fresh water salmon ponds and stroll along the boardwalk through the wetlands on the farm.
Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm is the next destination on this north Tasmanian gourmet adventure. Here, you can relax and indulge in some true country style food lunch platter. Sample some of their raspberry products including chocolate dipped raspberries or rich and creamy raspberry ice cream. Next stop is at the award winning Ashgrove Cheese Farm. Here, you can sample some of the best unique cheeses with fantastic flavours that utilise the local ingredients. Get some backstage access to the actual cheese making process and take a stroll through the Ashgrove Shop for a delicious range of gourmet products. The final part of the tour is to explore the Tamar Valley wine region where you will stop in and visit several local wineries. The area is home to some of the world’s best cold climate wineries and produces some of Australia’s award winning produce.

This tour takes place in north Tasmania, in locations between Launceston and Devonport, as well as Tamar Valley.
