The full day 4WD collects guests from their accommodation at about 9:00am and travels through the rugged, red shrub-land, across birridas and over sand dunes to the tip of the Peron Peninsula where Natures stunning outlooks will take your breath away. Peron Peninsula was a pastoral lease (sheep farm) for about 130 years before becoming a National Park and home to "Project Eden" - an ambitious exercise in eliminating feral animals and re-establishing endangered native species to mainland Australia. You will visit the Project Eden Interpretive Centre then on to Cape Peron where you'll be moved by the spectacle of extraordinary, vivid, contrasting colours, ranging from the sun-burnt red cliff and brilliant white beach to the many-hued aqua ocean merging with eternal blue skies. Then on to Skipjack Point lighthouse for a delicious picnic lunch on the cliff top overlooking a natural aquarium of giant stingrays, sharks, turtles, schools of fish and maybe dolphins and dugong.

The 3 hour afternoon ‘Pure Sail Wildlife Cruise’ - Origin of the Mermaid Myth - aboard Shotover, an 18-metre ocean racing catamaran will introduce you to Monkey Mia's marine life. As well as the famous dolphins and depending on the time of year, you may also see turtles, sharks, stingrays, flying-fish or the fish that walks on water, the long-tom, & the elusive dugong. Dugong feed on sea-grass. Shark Bay has the largest sea-grass banks in the world and a population of 10,000 dugongs! Although dugongs are shy & extremely difficult creatures to find & approach, we have developed techniques for getting you close without disturbing them.

In the evening Monkey Mia Magic Sunset Cruise you will join fellow travellers of the planet for a sundown experience you'll treasure. Unwind under silent sail and incredibly beautiful relaxation music as Shotover conjures up the magic from her Polynesian past.

As day begins another night, the sun blends the sky into hues of blue and gold, the land and sea melt to ink. Bring your favourite friend and sundown drink.
You'll love it and that's guaranteed.
