The iconic Sydney Opera House is a unique venue and will be unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. With a world renowned reputation for its late modern architecture and as a performing arts centre, its design is perfect to maximise all performances. Please note that Turandot on Sydney Harbour takes place as Mrs Macquaries Point which is another unique way to experience opera with the harbour as your backdrop. This is an open-air and all weather event which will add a whole new atmosphere to any performance. 

These operas will take place at either the Sydney Opera House in Circular Quay or at an outside venue at Mrs Macquaries Point – the exact location is specified below and will be confirmed when booking. This is a beautiful chance to dress up for a nice night out and enjoy the harbour at night in one of Sydney's biggest icons. Please note that Opera performances will go ahead in just about all weather conditions. For the outside opera at Mrs Macquarie's Point, there may be cancellations in extreme weather conditions for the crew's safety but make sure you check current weather conditions on the day and bring umbrellas and jackets if needed

Participant guidelines: Please note that when you book this experience with the box office, you will be required to supply your certificate number and admin code to the agent. At this point, your certificate will be considered redeemed and you will be bound by Opera Australia’s cancellation policy. On the day of your show, your opera tickets will be available to collect from the service desk at Sydney Opera House one hour before the performance begins.
