How do I use my Universal Gift Certificate?

How do I use my Universal Gift Certificate?
Your Universal Gift Certificate can be used like cash to purchase an experience/restaurant certificate. The Universal Gift Certificate can only be used on www.bestgiftcertificates.com.au. To use your Universal Gift Certificate follow the steps below
- To ACTIVATE your gift certificate you must log in to your existing user account or create an account with www.bestgiftcertificates.com.au. Visit the Redeem your Universal Gift Certificate page.
- Once you have logged in to your account credit the Universal Gift Certificate to your account.
- To credit your Universal Gift Certificate you will need the gift certificate number, value of the voucher and the purchase date.
Note: if you have trouble proceeding past this screen you may have already credited your Universal Gift Certificate to your user account. If this is the case simply check your member account page to see if you have credit in your account.
- You now have credit in your account which you use like cash on the website to choose from over 1,000 restaurant or lifestyle experiences.
- Browse the website and click “Buy Now” when you have chosen.
- At the final stage of payment select the payment method “Pay with my User Credit”.
- A certificate will be emailed to you for the experience you have chosen, simply print this out and take it with you on the day (be sure to mention it when making your booking).

What if the value of my Credit/Universal Gift Certificate doesn’t cover the cost of the experience?
If the value of your Credit or Universal Gift Certificate doesn’t cover the cost of the restaurant/experience you are purchasing you can pay the extra amount by credit card. You will be prompted for your credit card details after you click ‘Pay with my User Credit’.

What if the amount in my account or value of my Universal Gift Certificate is greater than the cost of the experience?
If you are purchasing something that costs less than the amount in your account or is less than the value of your Universal Gift Certificate then the remaining amount will be credited to your account for use towards another experience at a later date. The credit in your account does not expire.

What if my Universal Gift Certificate is about to expire and I haven’t chosen an experience?
If your Universal Gift Certificate is about to expire and you aren’t ready to choose an experience please contact us by phone on 02 9211 6088 or email admin@bestgiftcertificates.com.au to extend your certificate.

Dining Gift Certificate
Using your dining gift certificate is easy – just follow the 3 simple steps below.
- Contact the restaurant that is listed on your gift certificate and book a table quoting Best Gift Certificates and your gift certificate number.
- Print out your dining gift certificate and take this with you to the restaurant when you dine.
- Present you gift certificate to the restaurant on arrival as part pay of the payment total.
Note: If your meal costs more than the value on your gift certificate this additional amount should be paid direct to the restaurant at the time you dine. Any unused value on the gift certificate will be redeemed soley at the discretion of the restaurant you are visiting.

Experience Gift Certificate
Using your experience gift certificate is easy – just follow the 3 simple steps below.
- Contact the experience vendor that is listed on your gift certificate and book your experience quoting Best Gift Certificates and your gift certificate number.
- Print out your experience gift certificate and take this with you when you complete your experiences.
- Present you gift certificate to the experience vendor on arrival as payment for your experience.
Note: Once you have made a booking you are accepting the terms and conditions for the vendor that operates the experience. If your experience gift certificate has been extended you may need to pay an additional amount to the vendor should their prices have increased since the original expiry date.
