Full Description

Enjoy a full island tour by helicopter - see Phillip Island as you have never seen it before.

After departing from the airport the tour group will turn left at the coast for Cape Woolamai. Following the Woolamai Surf Beach, regarded as one of the best surf beaches in the country, you will fly around the Cape itself. Next, it’s over the water towards the San Remo Bridge with great views of San Remo and Newhaven, and then follow the coast to Rhyll and its Inlet where migratory birds fly thousands of kilometres to feed. Then it is on to Cowes, Red Rocks Point and Ventnor before the spectacular Nobbies and Seal Rocks come into view. Seal Rocks is home to Australia’s largest colony of fur seals.

Then heading east, fly past Summerland beach, home to the world famous Penguin Parade, and onto Pyramid Rock and the Grand Prix circuit. Then wave to the swimmers and surfers on Smiths Beach and Surfers Point before returning to the airport. Cameras are compulsory!

We fly the very popular Robinson Clipper II aircraft, maintained to the highest standards.

The certificate is for three passengers (plus one infant).

Participant Guidelines:
There is no minimum age for participants. Infants (0-2yrs) are free of charge when travelling on their parents’ lap (maximum one infant per flight).

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Wear comfortable clothing with flat-soled shoes, a camera and a spirit of adventure!

Duration:
Twenty-five minute flight.

Availability:
The time and day of the flight is up to you! Phillip Island Helicopters is open during daylight hours, usually around 9pm in the summer and around 6pm in the winter, 364 days a year.

Weather:
If at the time of departure, the pilots deem that the flight cannot go ahead due to bad weather conditions and thus raising safety concerns, the flight will be cancelled and another convenient time will be arranged. If another time cannot be arranged, then you will receive a refund, less any credit card fees.

Spectators:
Spectators can view the helicopter taking off and landing.
