Immerse yourself into the surf lifestyle at Australia’s original surf camp for beginners.

Departing every Friday evening, meet the Surf Camp crew outside Sydney Central YHA/Scubar, at 6:00pm. Sit back and relax whilst you travel down the South Coast to camp located at Seven Mile Beach, Gerroa.

If the vibe is right, your surf guide can take you to one of the local pubs. Or if the mood is chilled, sit back and get to know your co-surfers at camp.

Saturday:
Start the day to the tunes provided by surf camp staff and meet for breakfast. You’ll be given some time to get ready for your first lesson and then it’s straight to the beach! You’ll receive a talk on tides and conditions, and how to identify the safest part of the beach to surf, followed by paddling technique and standing up.

Qualified instructors are with you in the water at all times ensuring you get the most out of each lesson. The majority of people stand up within the first lesson.

The lessons are two hours long each and will progress from the previous one.

Sunday:
All you’ve dreamt about is getting back
into the water! After breakfast you’ll be
given some time to get ready for your first
lesson and then it’s straight to the beach!

Arrive in Sydney Sunday Night: at approximately 7pm for a Surf Camp After Party.
