The Perfect Gift for Mothers Day

Have you ever seen these majestic creatures up close? The best way to enjoy such an experience is aboard the luxury yacht "Katrina".

Sydney Eco Whale Watching’s personalised 4-hour eco-tour caters for only a small number of passengers at a time. No pushing crowds and lots of personal attention will make this a powerful, spiritual experience.

Between May to late July and September to November each year, about 6,000 whales migrate along the Australian coastline to their breeding and birthing grounds. As a part of their migratory path, many Humpbacks and Southern Right Whales swim very close to the coastline around Sydney.

Over the past five years, Sydney has had many whales swim into the Harbour and stay for up to two weeks. You may see whales, dolphins, penguins, seals and ocean birds during your eco-tour.

Our yacht Katrina provides a luxurious, mobile platform to take you to the best vantage point to see these wonderful, awe – inspiring creatures while enjoying complimentary refreshments on board, and to keep you warm- hot chocolate, coffee & tea.

About Katrina
A 40 foot yacht including a foredeck & aft deck. Katrina comes complete with a spacious cockpit and walk-around decks. Katrina is licensed for 20 passengers in Sydney Harbour including skipper and is excellent for children.

The large covered cockpit can seat 6 for a more formal dinner setting. The covered cockpit has 6' headroom clearance providing shelter from wind, rain & heat. The sun awning provides shelter on a hot day from the sun. The yacht includes a large deck area both foredeck and aft deck.

Certificate Covers One Person

Participant Guidelines:
Due to Safety reasons, only children 8 years and over are accepted.

Numbers on Day:
A maximum of 12 passengers will be aboard your tour.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
• As it will be cold during the winter, please bring your favourite warm hats, spray and warm jackets, jumpers and gloves • Sunglasses • Camera • We also recommend our customers wear flat ‘runner’ style shoes; No leather or black sole shoes. • Sunscreen will be provided complimentary

Duration:
This experience will operate over 4 hours.

Availability:
Tours operate during the following months, from Tuesdays to Sundays: Winter: May-early August Spring: September-November Tours depart daily at 8:00 a.m and 12:30 p.m. These times may vary and will be confirmed on booking.

Weather:
Tours may be cancelled before and during the tour if the weather and/or the safety conditions are unacceptable, or if the ocean/sea conditions are unsafe. If the tour is cancelled, your tour will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed date. This will be subject to availability and current bookings at the time.

Spectators:
Not applicable.

Please discuss any medication for motion sickness needs with your doctor or pharmacist or healthcare professional prior to the tour. Due to regulations, we are unable to administer any medications.
