Join Sydney by Sail for an afternoon of fun and excitement on board a fleet of luxury Hunter yachts for the popular Saturday Social Racing. Social racing takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 1pm to 4pm. This is a great opportunity to put your skills to the test and be part of a crew as you race around the Harbour. Come on your own or put together your own team. No previous sailing experience required.

  • Participant Guidelines:
    Children under 14 are half price and must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Numbers on Day:
    This certificate is for one person. There may be up to 15 people on board the yacht
  • What to Bring / Dress Code:
    Warm comfortable clothing and non-marking footwear (black soled shoes are not permitted). Participants are responsible for any damage sustained to their feet, if they don't wear appropriate shoes. Please dress for the weather and we strongly recommend that you bring a warm jacket.
  • Duration:
    Be part of the crew trimming the sails and taking the helm as you navigate your way past the historical attractions, luxury homes and beautiful bays and beaches. On board the yacht is a highly experienced instructor who will show you the ropes. Take an active role or sit back and enjoy the experience. A fun, safe and exciting way to enjoy the magnificent harbour.
  • Availability:
    This experience is available throughout the year. Spaces are limited so bookings are essential.

  • Weather:
    Postponement is only due to adverse wind conditions and not rain as per our discretion. In the event of a cancellation, we will reschedule your experience for a later date
