Full Description
Have you heard of the terms 'lock-offs', 'self-rescue', 'one-on-one rescue' or 'change overs'? Ever wondered how to climb back up a rope when caught in space on an overhang, or abseil past the point where two ropes are joined? When securing an anchoring system, are you sure that those knots you've tied aren't going to let you down, and that the belay anchors will do the job you ask of them?

The Single Rope Techniques (SRT) course is designed to teach you all this and more. It builds on your basic roping skills and experience and at the conclusion of the program you will have the answers to all these questions and be able to manage yourself safely and confidently in a vertical environment.

The one-day course is structured to allow the maximum amount of hands-on time possible and to be flexible to your skill levels and requirements. Constant feedback on your development will be given throughout the course including a summary of progress at the conclusion of the program.
We have a high instructor to participant ratio (1:6) that enhances the learning environment, safety and
quality of your experience throughout the day.
