Full Description

This is the opportunity of a lifetime if you've ever wanted to dive with sharks. You'll get up close and personal with huge grey nurse sharks, giant stingrays, sea turtles, wobbegong sharks and a vast array of marine life.

This certificate is for divers who hold an Open Water or equivalent certification. Your Shark Dive Xtreme experience will include a one hour shark awareness lecture and a 30 minute dive in the Oceanarium.

Afterwards, you'll be de-briefed and will receive a Shark Dive certificate and have the option of purchasing an underwater photo.

Additional Information

People per certificate:
One Person Per Certificate.

Participant Guidelines:
14 years or older. You must bring your gift certificate with you on the day.

Numbers on Day:
One person per certificate. A maximum of five certified divers per session.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Swimming costume, towel. All diving equipment is provided (you may bring your own mask and wetsuit). You must bring your certification card with you on the day.

Duration:
This certificate is for divers who hold an Open Water or equivalent certification. Your Shark Dive Xtreme experience will include a one hour shark awareness lecture and a 30 minute dive in the Oceanarium. Afterwards, you'll be de-briefed and will receive a Shark Dive certificate and have the option of purchasing an underwater photo.

Availability:
7 days a week, several times a day, please note bookings are essential - Shark Feed dives only run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Weather:
You are guaranteed perfect conditions every time with great visibility within the 4 million litre Oceanarium

Not applicable.

Other:
The Shark Dive Xtreme Certified Program is for divers with an Open Water or equivalent certification. Divers can also opt to book in with friends in an Introductory session and will join them in the training pool, rather than have a shark lecture. If you have not dived in the last six months or have less than 15 logged dives, you must do the Shark Dive Xtreme Scuba Tune Up program.
