Hurtle through the rainforest at 120kph suspended from the giant jungle swing!

From the inventors of Bungy comes an intoxicating new adventure... hurtling through the forest suspended from a giant swing in the middle of the North Queensland rainforest.

Legend has it that the Minjin used to roam these hill-slopes in the lean body of a mountain devil, a vicious cat-like creature....

Today it roars in the shape of the Jungle Swing, at speeds of up to 120 kph. Stainless steel cables have taken the place of animal cunning, the spotted hide has made way for hang-gliding harnesses and the evil eyes are now brightly coloured lights... gravity provides the charge, which is wild and very real!

One, two or three people at a time can face the challenge of the Minjin - and legend further has it ... that anyone who enjoys the experience of the Minjin will live a charmed life.

  • People per certificate:
    One Person Per Certificate
  • Participant Guidelines:
    No minimum age, but must be at least 1.2m tall and minimum solo weight of 55kg. Maximum individual weight is 120kg.
  • Numbers on Day:
    One person per certificate. Up to three people may ride the swing at one time.
  • What to Bring / Dress Code:
    NO FEAR!
  • Duration:
    After you are picked up in Cairns you will be driven to the Minjin site, about 20 minutes away. After a brief tuition you will be launched into the rainforest.
  • Availability:
    This activity is available every day of the year, except Christmas Day. Advance bookings are essential.

  • Weather:
    Does not usually affect this expeience.
  • Spectators:
    Your friends are welcome to come and watch as you fly through the forest.
  • Other:
    A $10 levy per person will be charged to defray the cost of risk management and public liability insurance. This is payable direct to AJ Hackett on the day of activity. Rates are subject to change without notice. T-shirts and Photos can also be purchased on site.
