Full Description

You will be greeted with traditional Japanese tea and Japanese snacks including rice crackers and dried seaweed.

Under the exclusive tuition and guidance from a traditionally trained Japanese chef, learn the delicate art form of sushi making.

Prepare sushi normally only cooked in Japanese households, which may include a selection of:
- Norimaki
- Inari
- Chirashi and
- Temari Sushi

Your Japanese chef will introduce you to the different varieties of sushi, demonstrate the preparation of the staple ingredients and show you how to use a sushi mat to create that perfect sushi.

After the last sushi has been rolled, enjoy your success and reward your appetite as you sit down to experience true Japanese dining culture.

Location:
Classes are offered a variety of metropolitan sites across Adelaide. Depending on the cuisine of choice, classes are held in kitchens at leading restaurants, private properties or home style settings. Classes are fully mobile and can be delivered at any venue from country properties, outdoor settings or wineries to commercial locations and even the boardroom.

People per certificate:
1 person.

Participant Guidelines:
Classes suitable for ages 14 to 80, for people of all cooking levels. This class is driven by having fun and is a "hands on" experience so be prepared to roll up your sleeves.

Numbers on Day:
Minimum of 5 people, maximum of 10 people.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing.

Duration:
Classes are approximately 3 hours long, running on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm, with a chance to sit down and enjoy your creations.

Availability:
The classes are run once a month, usually on the third Saturday of the month. 2012 Sushi Class Dates: 18th February 17th March 21st April 19th May 16th June 21st July 18th August 15th September 20th October 17th November 15th December Classes fill quickly, it is suggested to book at least 2 weeks in advance. Please note the class requires a minimum of 5 people.
