Learn how to compliment food with the perfect drop in this group wine matching course and indulge in exquisite canapés and boutique wines. This experience is perfect for promoting group cohesion in an enjoyable, relaxed setting!
Your group experience begins with a 60-minute talk and discussion on the principles of wine and food matching and you will each receive a tuition booklet that will become a valuable reference guide for you in the future.
Afterwards, it's time to get into the business end of the wine matching course! Each person will have the opportunity to participate in the wine matching session, enjoying canapés and boutique wines. You will also learn examples of wines that don't match! You can expect to sample 10 wines with 8 canapés.
After the wine matching course, your group can expect to have learnt sensory evaluation techniques, wine style and character, matching wine with food, serving temperatures and finally, to decant or not to decant.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Smart, casual dress is required. The course is held in a restaurant or corporate venue which requires smart attire. It is recommend you wear pants with a collared shirt.

Duration:
The tasting experience is approximately 3 hours in duration. This is made up of 60 minutes of tuition followed by a two hour wine and canapé matching session.

Please book at least 14 days in advance. All bookings are subject to availability and must be made on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
