Full Description

See Phillip Island as you have never seen it before on a Grand Prix and Seals by Helicopter Flight. Leave the airport, tracking coastal passing Smiths beach, Surfers Point and Cunningham Bay. Marvel at the spectacular views of the Grand Prix track, as you fly overland to Berrys Reef. Then its past Kitty Miller Bay and Summerland Beach, home to the Fairy Penguins, and Seal Rocks. You will then fly along the coast, with fantastic island views, and back to the airport.

Take a seat in the very popular Robinson R44 Raven2 Clipper. The cabin offers comfortable two plus two seating, with no bulkhead or post between the front and rear seats, assuring exceptional visibility and panoramic views for all passengers. It is not surprising that the Robinson R44 has become the best-selling helicopter in the world and the helicopter’s safety record is the best in the industry.

People per certificate:
The certificate is for three passengers (plus one infant).

Participant Guidelines:
There is no minimum age for this experience. Infants (0-2yrs) are free of charge when travelling on their parents’ lap (maximum one infant per flight).

Numbers on Day:
The helicopter accommodates three passengers (plus one infant).

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Comfortable clothing with flat-soled shoes, a camera and your spirit of adventure!

Duration:
Take a 16-minute flight around Phillip Island.

Availability:
The time and day of the experience is up to you. Phillip Island Helicopters is open during daylight hours, usually around 9pm in the summer and around 6pm in the winter, 364 days a year.

Weather:
If at the time of departure, the pilots deem that the flight cannot go ahead due to bad weather conditions and thus raising safety concerns, the flight will be cancelled and another convenient time will be arranged. If a time cannot be arranged, then you will receive a refund, less any credit card fees.

Spectators:
Spectators can watch the helicopter take off and land.
