Full Description

Your Fighter Jet Airshow Aerobatic Mission will involve a guided tour of the L-39 Jet Fighter, full mission flight and safety briefing. Enjoy 30 minutes in the aircraft - 20 minutes airborne.

In full flight suit and helmet you'll climb aboard your fighter jet and be guided through the start procedures - feel the awe of jet spool up. Then 4000 pounds of jet thrust will launch you into the atmosphere.

With speeds of up to 910 km per hour the L-39 is the sleekest and most modern jet fighter conducting adventure flights in Australia.

Your flight will take you as high as 11,000 ft over the beautiful Hunter Valley with sensational views of the coastline to the east and mountains to the north. You are co-pilot - one to one with your pilot - your flight is interactive and customised.

Experience the raw thrill of the aerobatic manoeuvres used in almost every airshow routine conducted by demonstration pilots around the world like the four point hesitation roll, the barrel roll and the lazy eight plus a lot more if you dare. Completely adjustable throughout your flight, so see how far you can go.

One person per gift certificate

Participant Guidelines:
Minimim age 16 years, no maximum age. Total weight must not exceed 120kg.

Numbers on Day:
This certificate is valid for one person.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes, long pants, rubber soled shoes and bring along a light jacket (heavier clothing may be need during the winter months). We supply each passenger with a soft flying helmet incorporating an electric intercom. Warbird experience passengers will be supplied with a military style flying suit and military helmet. Feel free to wear sunglasses.

Duration:
Total experience time is two hours, 30 minute aircraft time, 15 minute flight time.

Availability:
Daily, year round.

Weather:
This experience will be cancelled in widespread low cloud or rain.

Spectators:
Flights are conducted close to an airport so spectators can watch.
