Full Description

Take control of the helicopter yourself, as you are professionally guided through the effects of helicopter controls and basic aerodynamics. Once you are in the air and it is safe to do so, the instructor will allow you to take over the controls and fly the helicopter yourself. You will not believe that you are actually flying the helicopter. One of the most exhilarating things you can do in your lifetime.

After your lesson you will receive a certificate. This flight can count toward your licence should you start training.

Participant Guidelines:
This flight experience is suitable for those aged 14 years and over who are physically well to participate in the lesson. Minimum height 160cm in order to reach all flight controls. Maximum weight 120kg.

You and your pilot.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
No special equipment required. Bring a camera.

Duration:
Prior to your 30-35 minute flight you will take part in a briefing. Allow approximately 1 hour in total for this experience.

Availability:
Helicopters are flown daily from 8:00am to 4:00pm. (Last one departing around 2:30pm). Early bookings needed from more than a month in advance, especially for weekends due to high popularity. Available from Jandakot Airport only.

Weather:
This experience may be affected by the weather. In such a case, your flight may need to be rescheduled.

Spectators:
Spectators are welcome to watch from the ground. No passengers allowed on the trial introductory flight.
