Castle of Dreams is the Australian answer to a fantasy European castle.

Picture knights and fair damsels, fortified stone walls, dragons and dungeons. A stone spiral newel staircase adjoins the two levels.
Tapestries, carved or timbered ceilings, fine rugs and antique four-poster beds set a tone that’s quite at odds with the rustic and pared-down style one expects from an Australian lodge. Each room is different, varying in size and layout, and come with little surprises, whether a fireplace, a spa bath or a German antique piano.

Absolute privacy this romantic castle escape is- “the stuff dreams and fairytales are made of”.
Meals are served en-suite or, if reserved, in the candlelit dining room; this is another measure of the Manor’s fixation on privacy, in contrast with the communal dining that’s standard in other small lodge hotels.

Overnight accommodation in the Castle Chambers suite, continental breakfast, 3 course dinner and voucher for regional cheese and wine tasting. The Wine & Cheese Trail adventure for two includes a four course progressive picnic which includes some of the finest locally produced artisan cheeses as well as a bottle of wine to the value of $25 that you can collect from one of the wineries you visit. Each course is held in a different cellar door, and is matched specifically to the cheese. Your pack includes helpful maps, detailed information on the region, plus details on where you can collect your picnic.
