Full Description

In our candle making classes, you will be taught step by step how to make soy oil burner melts, soy votives, palm wax pillar candles, floating candles, soy container candles and soy tealight candles. And best of all, you get to take home every candle that you make!

Be prepared to get your hands dirty as you do everything from wicking your candles for preparation, melting and mixing the wax with dye and fragrance, through to finishing off your moulded natural wax candle. You won't find another candle making class that teaches you this much!
We pass on our candle making knowledge as we work through each of the practical candle making activities. Each step of our workshop adds to your skill level and increases your candle making knowledge base.

A great way to meet new people, have fun and spend the weekend doing something interesting that you enjoy! You will be amazed at how much you make in one day and will be inspired to go home and make your own candles.

Participant Guidelines:
Minimum age is 12 years but you must be accompanied by a paying adult up until the age of 16.

Numbers on Day:
Up to 15 participants

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Please bring tissue paper and a bag to carry home all the candles that you make on the day. Wear clothes (or an apron) you don’t mind getting wax on and comfortable shoes as there is a bit of standing.

Duration:
9am - 2.30pm Includes a one hour lunch break to allow candles to set

Availability:
The class dates for 2012 are as follows: Sun 3 Jun; Sun 24 Jun; Sun 15 Jul; Sun 5 Aug; Sun 26 Aug; Sun 16 Sept; Sun 7 Oct; Sun 4 Nov; Sun 18 Nov; Sun 9 Dec. Classes are VERY popular so you are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. Use of certificate is subject to availability.
