Full Description

Your BBQ Cooking class commences with a beer on arrival and an introduction to the group covering what we would most like to achieve from the lesson or course. Aprons are provided to all students to get into the mood for cooking up a storm.

The experienced chef demonstrators introduce themselves and outline what is to be achieved from the day. In the Beer & BBQ lesson, expect all things entertaining with a diner party style menu that is matched with boutique beers to really impress when entertaining at home. Then get straight in to demonstrating the first dish where all participants are integral in the production, management and serving of all dishes.

Sit down together as a group to share in the first creation with a detailed beer tutorial matched to the first course. Then embark on the next course covering all parts of BBQ myths and secrets and work together via an initial demonstration to achieve the next course served together. All participants are then given the tongs and lifters to re-create their meals with hints and tips from the experienced chefs. In the Beer & BBQ lesson you can look at the how and why to achieve really moist and crisp seafood and meat dishes including key buying tips and hints to ensure you are purchasing and receiving exactly what you set out to; the freshest possible product.

Then enjoy a detailed beer tutorial matched to the lunch with hints to best varieties and vintages to serve when you next fire up the BBQ.

- The Union Hotel, North Sydney

Participant Guidelines:
Children under 8 are not suitable. Children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult. Beer tasting for over 18’s is undertaken so responsible drinking is required.

Numbers on Day:
12 - 25 people in a group.
