Full Description

A unique multi water sports activity camp where the teens have the opportunity to try two activities - from a choice of windsurfing, catamaran sailing, dinghy sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The carefully selected qualified instructors promote safety on the water, while providing fun and adventure out on the water and on land at the same time.

The day starts at 9.30am and finishes at approximately 3.30pm depending on conditions and numbers. Participants can expect to participate in 2 different watersports activities over the course of the day.

Operated within Yachting Australia guidelines and strict ratios are adhered to.

Sessions are available Summer and Easter school holidays. The teens do not have to be confident swimmers. Parents/caregivers will be required to sign a waiver form. Spectators are welcome, or there are plenty of cafes in Balmoral.

The experience is not affected by the weather and the camps run come rain, hail or shine!

People per certificate:
1 person per gift certificate.

Participant Guidelines:
Participants must be aged between 13 and 15 years.

Numbers on Day:
This experience adheres to strict instructor to children ratios and operates within Yachting Australia guidelines.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Please bring your swimmers, a long sleeve t-shirt or "rashie" (lycra top), hat, warm clothes to change into, drink bottle, morning tea and packed lunch.

Duration:
The day runs from 9:30am-3:30pm. Morning recess occurs between the 2 sessions in the morning and we also have a 45 minute break for lunch. These times allow the teens to re-hydrate, apply more sun-cream and have a rest from their action-packed day!

Weather:
The experience is not affected by the weather and the camps run come rain, hail or shine! The program will be varied according to any adverse weather conditions.

Spectators:
Spectators are welcome or there are plenty of cafes in Balmoral if you wish to stay in the area.
