Full Description

A 6 hour all day ‘Pure Sail Wildlife Cruise’ aboard Shotover, an 18-metre ocean racing catamaran. Come and see Monkey Mia's marine life. As well as the famous dolphins and depending on the time of year, you may also see turtles, sharks, stingrays, flying-fish or the fish that walks on water, the long-tom, & the elusive dugong. Dugong feed on sea-grass. Shark Bay has the largest sea-grass banks in the world and a population of 10,000 dugongs! Although dugongs are shy & extremely difficult creatures to find & approach, we have developed techniques for getting you close without disturbing them.

The rattle of the anchor chain means you can swim, snorkel, or lay on the nets and just watch the underwater world go by.

Splash ashore on the beach of the Francois Peron National Park and beachcomb in an area where man has seldom trod. Where the path to the sun bleached horizon is many hues of blue-green. Where the water is vivid crystal. Where nature overwhelms.

What to Bring / Dress Code:
Camera, binoculars, non-marking shoes or bare-feet. Warm clothing, ladies best in shorts or pants. Bring your own lunch and snorkelling gear and sense of adventure.

This experience has a duration of 6 hours.

10:00am - 4:00pm Monday and Friday each week, except Christmas Day,

Weather:
We endeavour to sail every day but cruises will be cancelled in adverse weather conditions. If we are unable to sail your cruise will be rescheduled.

It may become necessary to alter routes, times or vessels. There is no cancellation charge but please give adequate notice.
